We’re Back and Ready to Celebrate YOU!

It’s been a season of reflection and growth here at Studio PRI, and now we’re thrilled to say—we’re back! Over the past few months, we’ve immersed ourselves in education, revisited our purpose, and reconnected with the magic of why we do what we do. To mark this new chapter, our team gathered at one of our favorite places in the city, The Line Hotel in Adams Morgan, for a Friendsgiving-style celebration. We shared stories, expressed gratitude for the journey so far, and dreamed boldly for the future. This pause reminded us of the importance of slowing down to reflect, realign, and refuel—and now, we’re ready to pivot back into the light and share our magic with YOU, our cherished community.

As part of our renewed energy, we’re excited to introduce Sheila, our new Client Experience Guide, who joins us to enhance the unforgettable, empowering moments you’ve come to expect from Studio PRI. Whether you’re here to embrace your full self through an intimate photography experience or a brand seeking to elevate your story with stunning visuals, we’re ready to help you create something extraordinary. We’re honored to guide you on your journey of self-love and creative exploration, and we can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us—together. Stay tuned for more updates, and if you’re ready to rediscover the magic of YOU, we’re here to make it happen. 💖

Come As You Are

Hey friend, I know life can get messy, and those moments of frustration or unmet goals can make us feel small. But the truth is, we’re more than enough just as we are, even in those uncertain times. When we stop to let ourselves really feel, we can uncover beautiful truths, if we're open to it. We just need to avoid staying stuck in resentment—it’s a slippery slope that can dim our light.

I’ve been there too, frustrated with myself for not fully stepping into my voice, my truth. It’s not easy to face those inner shadows, but I’ve learned that no one is going to rescue me. I have to show up for myself. And so do you. So, let’s carve out that time and space for you to feel, flow, and rise up. You are so enough. Come, just as you are, and let’s explore your beautiful, real self together. Book your session with me, and let’s keep rising!

You are the Main Character

Are you feeling yourself? I hope so because it is THE TIME TO SHINE. Recognize and Accept that you are the most important and amazing person in your life, no matter what's happening right now. You are! You are the creatress, the muse, the storyteller. If you don't believe me it's because you probably need to do some visualization.

I've been through some experiences that got me in situations that I didn't desire but a miracle happened once I started rewiring my thoughts with the help of visuals. By setting my day with meditation, breathwork, floral tonics, movement, and journaling as well as implementing photos, videos, and even designs to direct my vision and mold my brain - I healed and I've changed. It's been a year since I got into this daily focus-driven practice. Visualization has brought many gifts since then; I'm seeing it in my love life, career, family, friends, community, and skies the limit! I don't see myself ever stopping this practice because I'm finally able to truly be proud to be me shamelessly and to uplift others more genuinely, with more compassion.

Don't get walked over because you felt you had to get small to feel loved and seen instead continue to shine your light day by day by being bold and simply YOU in all your glory. Take time to practice visualizing your dream life by getting your creativity going, using your talents, and opening your heart to the vibes coming through to motivate your actions guiding you to be better than ever.

You have what it takes and I'm here for it!

Much Love,

PRI

ps huge special thanks to Jazz the lovely muse in this series

Operation: In These Streets

I had the good fortune of photographing my darling muse and transgender advocate Joanna Cifredo. We hanged out and walked around Adams Morgan, Washington DC in an early afternoon looking for nooks and crannies to shoot in. It’s always a spiritual moment when you connect with another soul but it takes courage, wisdom and strength to be able to tap into our creative geniuses and get vulnerable together. I don’t take this creative act of self-expression through vulnerability lightly. I’m grateful and I will always cherish my time with this beautiful Boriqua Woman that I call friend.

Rio: Visiting my Homeland

I was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1982. Even-though I’m living in the states now I try to now and then go back to visit my roots and connect with my family and friends there. It’s a crazy land full of magical people and beautiful creatures and things. There are many facets of my authentic self and this is part of it and I will forever be blessed and honored to be from my homeland Rio.

“Then came the day when I looked into a mirror and saw ten thousand faces; in that moment I understood that my body not only holds a multitude of stories but that I also exist in many places and many times at once.” - Yung Pueblo
